Pregnancy is such a unique time in your life… the blossoming physical changes, the subtle shifts in your relationship, the bonding with your unborn child. All these things manifest themselves outwardly in ways that you’re probably too close to see, so why not take the opportunity to capture all these beautiful transformations so you can look back on this unique time in years to come.
Pregnancy photography is a wonderful opportunity to focus on the relationship between parents and their unborn child. Mums-to-be tell me that they enjoy having this time to concentrate on themselves at an otherwise busy period, and to reflect on the changes ahead. Which of course, is evident in the resulting shots… relaxed, excited, proud, and shining with love and anticipation.
Maternity photo shoots take many forms. Some couples prefer to focus on the mum-to-be while others like to have images of them together. And of course, they are a great chance for any older siblings to feel involved, too. In terms of photographic style, pregnancy photo shoots are intensely unique and are designed to reflect individual personalities and what they want to achieve, including choice of location. My main aim is to ensure that everyone is relaxed and happy and delighted with the results.
