Newborn and baby photography is one of my favourite things. The arrival of a newborn is such an intensely joyous time with so much to celebrate that it makes perfect sense to capture that time of wonder, in all its perfection. Childbirth is an amazing achievement and photos to treasure are such a great gift. As a mum myself I know how lovely those pictures are to look back on because those early days whizz by and you don’t always have the time to truly appreciate just how amazing newborns are.
Whether you choose a newborn photo shoot in those very early weeks, or prefer to wait until your baby is slightly older, my photography style is natural and pared back; designed to put all the focus on the pure beauty of your child, without distraction. And I’m totally flexible – working to you and your baby’s needs – because I understand that nappies need changing and babies run to their own timetable.
Newborn and baby photography sessions take place either in the comfort and familiarity of your own home or from my warm and cosy studio in Orpington, near Bromley. Blankets and other props are provided, or we can use your own. Capturing your child from birth to teen
Many of my clients like to chart their children’s journey from the early weeks of being a newborn right through to the teenage years. It’s an honour to do this via regular photo shoots that mark all the key milestones, beautifully. We start with the first days of a newborn’s life in all their curled up cuteness, then move on to the toddler or preschool years and continue into the teens. I absolutely love being able to provide this visual documentation of a child’s life journey for families, creating pictures to treasure forever.

Newborn packages
What a way to celebrate the arrival of your baby! A newborn photoshoot will capture your proudest achievement with images you will cherish forever. The ideal time to photograph a newborn baby is within the first 14 days after birth, so you will want to book your appointment before baby arrives and we can pencil the date in.
But as babies tend to know the perfect time to arrive, photography sessions can be rearranged to suit your clever little one.

Cake smash……this could get messy
What better way to celebrate the big milestone of a 1st birthday than by letting your little one loose on their own celebratory cake?
Cake Smash photography is such a fun experience for everyone. I set the studio up with balloons, birthday banner, nappy cover pants and a birthday crown. All you need to do is bring your baby… and the cake!
We can’t let you go home with a baby covered in cake, so we’ll pop your little one into a small bubble bath and get some shots in the tub. All cake smash photo shoots take place at my studio in Orpington.
