Booking fee
A non-refundable booking fee of £100 is required to confirm your booking. Your booking date is confirmed only when this deposit is paid.
Balance of payment
The balance payment is to be made 2 weeks prior to the wedding date. In the event that full payment is not made by this deadline, Harriet Buckingham Photography reserves the right to terminate this contract, retain the initial deposit and no longer be responsible for providing further services to the client.
Cancellation by either party
If Harriet Buckingham Photography has to cancel this contract for reasons beyond her control, she will refund any money paid to her by the client in respect of the wedding. Every effort will be made to find an alternative, qualified photographer. The Clients may cancel this contract at any time up to 14 days prior to the wedding and will forfeit their initial deposit. In case of cancellation within 14 days the client agrees to pay the full amount.
Should the cancelled wedding be rescheduled, then, subject to Harriet’s availability, all money paid may be applied to the new date.
Force majeure
In the unlikely event of total photographic failure, injury or sickness beyond Harriet’s control, her liability shall be limited to a full refund of all monies paid. Your statutory rights are not affected. Harriet Buckingham Photography has full Public Liability, and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
Copyright
The 1998 Copyright, Designs, and Patents Act assigns copyright to Harriet Buckingham Photography. Harriet releases the right for her client to print for personal use or post images electronically on social media. The images remain the property of Harriet Buckingham Photography and cannot be altered, sold or published.
Model release
This wedding photography contract serves as a model release. This grants Harriet Buckingham Photography the right to utilise images for but not limited to website, social media and marketing without further release.
Image processing
All images will be adjusted for exposure, brightness, contrast, sharpness, etc Harriet’s judgement regarding these corrections shall be deemed correct. Retouching, digital manipulation is available to the Client as an option at extra cost.
Delivery of images
Harriet Buckingham Photography will deliver the agreed quantity of high-resolution images on a personalised USB stick, the images will also be available to view and download from a password protected gallery on her website. Harriet will do her best to deliver the agreed quantity of images but changes in the weather, poor lighting, space and backdrops may affect the quantity.
Image editing of your wedding can take up to 30 days. Wedding albums are a bespoke item and can take up to 8 weeks to create after the design has been approved. Once the images have been delivered the Client accepts all responsibility for archiving and protecting the digital files.
